Single Process
A single process is the application of color to
slightly lift or lighten
to create depth or darken
to change vibrancy or tonality
or to achieve complete gray coverage.
A single process can be semi-permanent or permanent.

Double Process
A double process color is a color lift with color or decolorizer, followed by a single process to deposit color

Highlights
This is a process where strands of hair are separated and lifted using high lift color or decolorizer for dimensional effect. Various techniques using foils or free painting (baliage) are used.
Lowlights – same technique as highlights but a darker color for tonal change is woven into the hair.

Glaze
A glaze is an add-on service to any of the above color services. This enhances the vibrancy and shine.
